Breakfasts were a delight - from the coffee to the orange juice to the excellent choice of foods. The rooms were a comfortable home for a week, with daily non-intrusive cleaning on request. And the location could not be bettered - with Avenyn restaurants, the Paddan trips canal trips and relaxing, beautifully kept parks on the doorstop. Not to mention the boutique shops all round !

The breakfast was excellent, the staff were very kind and thoughtful. The location was great, there was only one small negative and that was the lack of a good coffee machine in the hotel, would have loved a cappuccino. The barmen made excellentMojitos, thank you.

What an amazing hotel! Perfect location. Spacious, modern, comfortable, and spotless room and bathroom. Breakfast was incredible and the staff were kind, open, and very helpful. We loved Göteborg and will be back….and of course plan on staying at Avalon Hotel.

The breakfast was great, as was the location, you can walk to everything. Take the Flyggbus from the airport and it drops you right in front.

Lovely hotel in central location. Nice staff, great breakfast, large room with bath(in room but can be screened with curtains if desired), comfortable bed with good pillows. One minute from airport bus stop, ten minutes to main train and bus station, tram stops are nearby. and it is only a ten minute walk to the port for the ferries.

A lovely hotel with exceptional staff. They helped us pick several restaurants that they liked and were very hospitable. The room and street view were fantastic, modern and well appointed. Best hotel stay in a three week trip.

Lovely staff, delicious breakfast, excellent dinner, very generous room size and facilities, superb location. We should add that the staff parked the car for us and brought it to us for our departure.

Excellent location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu is limited but the food served terrific especially the shrimp sandwich.

A perfect match in the middle of the city center of Gothenburg. An awesome breakfast and a good , but expensive Hotel bar & restaurant. Nice rooms and nice interior. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great location, a lot of nice restaurants near by, bus stops just 1 minutes away. Beds are amazing plus the pillows.
